Spoken Word Ministries is an Antioch church that has the vision of fulfilling the mandate of the five-fold ministry which is to mature the saints for the work of the ministry. Our foundation is built on the apostolic and prophetic ministries of God with Jesus Christ as the chief cornerstone. (Ephesians 2:20) We believe in the full gospel. Our goal is to teach believers biblical principles that would lead them in the direction of victorious living. We do not believe that we can make believers live victoriously by what we offer as a ministry alone. We do believe that we are equipped to give the believer the tools to achieve victorious life with the help of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our aim in ministry is not to just give a word from the Lord for this season but to teach people to hear from God for themselves. We have a Six Part Plan (SPP) concerning our vision to minister to the individual believer. This plan is tailor made for the individual according to the specific call on their life. (Example: Every believer will not be released from the local body).

II Cor 4:3 – The Gospel is hidden to those who are lost. God’s people must be led into the light. They must see the truth of the Gospel.

Spoken Word Ministries has a unique way of reaching the lost. God has given us the vision of the Demon Buster Mobile, The Dirty Dozen, Shiggionoth and many other outreach tools. At Spoken Word we believe that they that come in must see the light.

Matthew 3:11 – John baptized with water unto repentance, but Jesus’ baptism was with the Holy

Ghost and fire (lightning according to the Greek word “pur”). This scripture not only speaks of an infilling but a purging that will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. The word chaff refers to something that is shed or diffused. In other words when we receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost, it should not just be a manifestation of praying in tongues but we should be hit by a bolt of lightning that should clean us up and make us want to live right.

Proverbs 22:6 – Jesus said that we must come into the things of the kingdom like a child. Proverbs tells us to train a child up in the way that they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it.

Exodus 28:41 – God commanded that those set aside for the work of the ministry be consecrated so that they could minister unto Him in the office that they were called unto. In Acts 13:1 there was a separation that had to take place with Barnabas and Saul. The men of God laid hands on them and separated them first. After that, they were sent forth by the Holy Ghost. In both cases, there was a separation to minister unto the Lord that had to take place first. After a separation unto God and then separation and acknowledgement by man, the Holy Ghost sent them forth!

Luke 10:1 – Jesus chose and appointed seventy elders and sent them ahead of Him to places that He was en route to. He commanded them to pray to the Lord of the harvest to send laborers to His harvest. There are those that will be trained and released as a result of prayer to the Lord of the harvest.

II Timothy 1:6 – To activate means to cut on, accelerate or set in motion. Paul reminded Timothy that the gifts that were released to him by the laying on of hands by the elders needed to be stirred up. Leaders are called to push others so that the gifts in them will be stirred up and not lay dormant.
